How do we carry out our Inspections?

 

Our Mock CQC Inspections Packages
Our Mock CQC Inspections are divided into 3 packages:

Analyzing Graphs

Platinum Audit

These audits are onsite visits with verbal feedback and evidence rated report, with a follow up action plan support and monitoring visits (frequency agreed with client).

Analyzing the data

Gold Audit

These audits onsite visit verbal feedback and evidence rated report (usually 1.5 – 2 days)

Analysing the Numbers

Silver Audit

These audits are onsite site visit and verbal feedback with a brief top line rated report.

Services can select a package of inspections that suit their needs and the type of audit that they require. Prices of packages are available on request and can be tailor made to each service.

Virtual Remote Service Audits

  • We will talk to the Registered Manager and ask for specific documents to complete a desktop review of the most important issues in the service. We will use a shared screen function of virtual meetings to take a tour of the home in specific areas that we want to inspect via facetime.

 

  • We will access the service’s Care Planning System to review care and support plans for the people in the service.

 

  • As part of the Remote service audit we will speak to staff members from different departments( nurses, OSCI nurses, Team Leaders, Senior Carers, Ancillary staff, Catering Team) and service users to get feedback by video or phone call.

 

  • If there is extra documentation that we require to help us write up our reports on what we have identified in the service.

 

  • We can also attend some Senior Management/ Team Leaders meetings on a virtual meeting platform to present our findings following our remote service audit and where appropriate can do very brief coaching sessions on specific findings of our remote service audits and how to record care practice which provides great evidence of compliance.
